Steven James Weibley, Senior Pastor
Steven James Weibley has served Carlisle Congregational Church for nearly 25 years, first serving as choir director, and then later as associate pastor. He became lead pastor upon accepting the congregation’s call in January of 2009.
Board of Elders
The Elder board at the Carlisle Congregational Church is elected by the church membership and is comprised of six members plus the pastors ex-officio. Two members are elected every year in a rotating manner.
Their call is to devote themselves to the spiritual leadership of the church and attend to the general welfare of the members. Along with the Pastor(s), they articulate and communicate the direction and vision for the Body of Christ.
Elder meetings are held at various times each month. Please consult the church Calendar for specific times. Concerns of members or attendees can be addressed to any elder and when appropriate to the board as a whole.
Board of Deacons
The Deacon board at the Carlisle Congregational Church is elected by the church membership and is comprised of up to six. Members are elected to three-year terms.
Their call is to oversee the ministries analogous to those overseen by the deacons of the early church. Their areas of oversight include:
The Deacons meet formally once a month on the third Wednesday. Concerns of members or attendees can be addressed to any deacon and when appropriate to the board as a whole.
